Industrial Parks in Phu Tho Become a “Fertile Land” for Attracting FDI

In the first 9 months of 2025, Phu Tho recorded strong growth figures:
- 26 new FDI projects, with a total registered and additional capital of 569.93 million USD, an increase of 7% compared to the same period in 2024.
- 30 new domestic projects licensed with a total capital of 11,685.86 billion VND, 2.5 times higher than the same period last year.
- 36 projects began operations, including 29 FDI projects, contributing significantly to GRDP growth.
- Currently, there are 668 active projects in the industrial parks (IPs), accounting for 82% of the total investment projects in the province.
These results led the province’s GRDP in the first 9 months of 2025 to achieve a 10% growth rate, exceeding the government’s target. Budget revenue is estimated at 42,000 billion VND, surpassing the forecast, while export turnover reached 26.8 billion USD, mainly from machinery, equipment, and electronic components.

A primary reason Phu Tho has become a preferred destination is its strength in administrative reform:
- 20–30% reduction in processing time for documents related to labor, land, and construction.
- 95% of online profiles have been processed through the application of digital management technology.
- The government regularly holds direct dialogues with investors such as Samsung, Sumitomo, and YCH to resolve difficulties.
Mr. Hoang Long Bien, Head of the Industrial Park Management Board, emphasized: “Phu Tho always creates the most favorable conditions to attract FDI and accompanies businesses in their development, aiming for a sustainable and prosperous economy.”
